Bhubaneswar: The slide in fresh COVID-19 continued with Bhubaneswar reporting 547 fresh positive cases in the last 24 hours till 9 am of Monday. The previous day city had reported 885 cases.
Out of the total new positive cases, 40 are quarantine and 507 cases are local contact cases, stated a tweet by the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation.
While maximum of 74 cases were reported from Khandagiri, 71 are from Patia, 55 from Chandrasekharpur, 40 from Nayapalli and 32 from Old Town.
The total COVID-19 positive cases has increased to 1,51,535 with active cases standing at 12,126 while the recovered cases was 1,38,264. The total deceased went up to 1,124 with four more COVID deaths reported from the city.
