Bhubaneswar: The COVID-19 toll in Odisha rose to 3035 on Monday with 41 more patients succumbing to the virus in the past 24 hours.
According to Health Department sources, fresh fatalities have been detected in 21 districts.
Khurda reported the highest of six deaths followed by four from Sundargarh, three each from Ganjam and Puri, two each from Bargarh, Gajapati, Jagatsinghpur, Jajpur, Jharsuguda, Mayurbhanj, Sambalpur, and Sonepur and one each from Angul, Balasore, Bhadrak, Deogarh, Dhenkanal, Kalahandi, Kendrapara, Keonjhar, and Nayagarh.
The department has, however, released details of only 16 of the 41 deceased.
1.A 95 years old female of Angul district.
2.A 30 years old male of Balasore district.
3.A 46 years old male of Bargarh district.
4.A 45 years old female of Baragarh district.
5.A 57 years old female of Bhadrak district.
6.A 47 years old male of Bhubaneswar who was also suffering from Hypertension.
7.A 24 years old male of Bhubaneswar who was also suffering from Hypertension and Hypothyroidism.
8.A 43 years old female of Bhubaneswar who was also suffering from Bronchial Asthma.
9.A 34 years old male of Deogarh district.
10.A 76 years old male of Dhenkanal district who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus.
11.A 85 years old female of Gajapati district.
12.A 38 years old male of Gajapati district.
13.A 39 years old male of Ganjam district.
14.A 56 years old male of Ganjam district.
15.A 41 years old male of Ganjam district.
16.A 69 years old male of Jagatsinghpur district who was also suffering from Hypertension.
The state also saw 6118 new cases on Monday, a big dip from the 7002 infections reported on Sunday.
