Bhubaneswar: The COVID-19 positive cases in Odisha soared to 5,34,842 on Sunday with 10,635 new cases in the last 24 hours.
Among the new cases, 6012 are quarantine and 4623 local contacts.
While Khurda has topped the district chart with 1564 cases, Sundargarh has 934 cases followed by Cuttack (887), Sambalpur (641), Angul (559), Kalahandi (469), Jharsuguda (456), Bargarh (443), Puri (434), Nabarangpur (336), Nuapada (324), Balangir (318), Balasore (301), Jajpur (290), Ganjam (266), Nayagarh (253), Keonjhar (193), Rayagada (158), Mayurbhanj (179), Boudh (179), Sonepur (149), Dhenkanal (146), Jagatsinghpur (140), Deogarh (137), Koraput (127), Kendrapada (127), Gajapati (101), Bhadrak (100), Malkangiri (79) and Kandhamal (73).
Besides, the state pool has 273 cases.
With 4,39,322 recoveries, Odisha has now 93,287 active cases.
