Cuttack: Cuttack Bali Jatra, one of the largest open trade fairs that celebrates Odisha’s maritime glory, will now conclude on December 5.
Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Monday announced extension of the fair by one day and directed the district administration to take necessary steps in this regard. The decision was taken in view of response and interest of visitors, the CMO release said.
This came a day after Cuttack Municipal Corporation (CMC) wrote to the CMO, urging for extension of Bali Jatra, which commenced on November 27 this year on the occasion of Kartika Purnima, by two days.
