Cuttack: Police here booked 326 people in 24 hours for violating various lockdown guidelines such as the mandatory use of masks and maintaining social distance, police said on Sunday.
The violators were booked under the provisions of the OUPA Act.
Meanwhile, police have again urged residents to walk to local markets for buying essentials. They said there is no shortage of vegetables and groceries and people should not act on rumours.
Police have also said that they are ready to help any person in case of trouble.
