Balasore: With the Extremely Severe Cyclonic storm Amphan heading towards the coastline of the north Odisha, the Balasore district administration on Monday banned the entry of people from outside to the district from Monday evening.
As informed by the Balasore Collector K Sudarshan Chakravarty, the restriction for the entry into the district will remain in force till May 20 after the cyclone crosses the coast.
The Collector made the announcement after holding an emergency meeting with the officials concerned to review the prepraredness for the cyclone.
