Balasore: Vigilance sleuths on Wednesday raided houses and the office of Balasore Regional Transport Commissioner (RTO) Amaresh Patra in connection with an alleged disproportionate assets (DA) case.
Simultaneous raids were carried out by six teams of the anti-corruption officials at nine places, including Patra’s residence and office in Balasore, another house at Madhusudan Nagar in Bhubaneswar and a hotel located at Khuntuni. Several documents were seized.
Houses and the office of Buguda Ranger Prashant Sahu were also searched on charges of amassing properties disproportionate to his known sources of income.
