Bargarh: The Vigilance sleuths on Monday conducted simultaneous raids on the houses of Ghanashyam Sahoo, Assistant secretary, Primary Agriculture Cooperative Society (PACS) at Gaisilat block in Bargarh district, following allegations of possessing disproportionate assets.
The raids are being conducted by the two Vigilance teams of Bargarh division comprising one DSP, four Inspectors and other staff at his residence in Kalangapali as well as Gaisilat Cooperative Society office.
The teams have so far detected three plots, one four-wheeler, two two-wheelers and Rs 1,66,000 in cash. The property and gold jewellery are currently being estimated, official sources informed.
