Bhubaneswar: The COVID caseload in Odisha dropped below 100 on Saturday as 83 people tested positive for the virus in the last 24 hours.
Odisha had reported 104 cases the previous day.
According to the I & PR department, 49 of the new infection are from quarantine and 34 local contacts. Among them, 22 are in the 0-18 years age group. Sambalpur registered the highest of 12 cases followed by 10 from Sundargarh. While no new cases have been reported from 8 districts, the remaining 20 saw infections in single digit.
