Bhubaneswar: The daily COVID caseload in Odisha remained below 300 for third consecutive day on Saturday as 247 people, including 37 in the age group of 0-18 years, tested positive for the virus in the last 24 hours.
The state had reported 263 cases on Friday, 271 on Thursday and 387 on Wednesday.
According to the I & PR department, 144 of the new infections are from quarantine and 103 local contacts. Khurda reported the highest 115 cases followed by 22 in Cuttack and 13 in Sambalpur. Ten districts saw nil cases.

With these cases being detected from 60,988 samples, the test positivity rate (TPR) stood at 0.40 per cent. The TPR was 0.39 per cent on Friday, 0.43 per cent on Thursday and 0.60 per cent on Wednesday.
While the COVID tally has touched at 10,45,209, Odisha now has 2,790 active cases.
