Daily COVID Cases Dip Further In Odisha Capital; Details Here

Bhubaneswar: The daily COVID caseload in the capital city continued its downward trend on Monday as 118 new cases were reported in the last 24 hours.

The city had registered 149 cases on Sunday and 157 cases on Saturday.

According to Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC), 16 of the new patients on the day are from quarantine and 102 local contacts.

Of the local contacts, maximum 8 cases were reported from Nayapalli, followed by 4 cases each from Badagarh, Saheed Nagar and Old Town.

As many as 194 patients recovered from the disease while the number of deceased due to COVID went up to 1,026 with four more deaths reported during the period from the city.

The active cases stood at 3,432 while total 1,13,488 people have been infected by the virus so far.
