Bhubaneswar: A delegation from 8 countries, who are on a visit to Odisha as part of Gen Next Democracy Network programme, called on Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Saturday.
During the interaction with the delegates, the Chief Minister spoke about the art, architecture, culture and heritage of Odisha. He wished them to have a nice experience during their tour to the state’s natural bounties.
The delegates, who are on a 10-day visit to India, are now in Odisha as part of the programme which is organised by the Indian Council of Cultural Relations (ICCR). The delegation included members from Belgium, Brazil, Bulgaria, Croatia, Guyana, Mongolia, Portugal and South Africa.
The ICCR is organising the programme to commemorate 75 years of Independence and members from 75 countries are coming to India.
Satyabrata Sahu, Additional Chief Secretary, Odia Language, Literature & Culture department said the delegates visited Konark, Harirajpur, State Museum, Maritime Museum and State Assembly to learn about Odisha.
