New Delhi: In an inhuman crime, a teacher pushed a Class 5 student from the first floor of a government school, leaving her fighting for life in hospital.
The accused, identified as Gita Deshwal, attacked the girl with a pair of scissors at the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) primary school in Modal Basti area of central Delhi on Friday, reported PTI. She then pushed her off the building in a fit of anger.
Eyewitnesses informed police, who rushed the child to Bara Hindu Rao Hospital.
Another teacher tried to stop Gita from assaulting the girl, but to no avail.
The teacher has been arrested.
