Dense Fog Shrouds Bhubaneswar, Rourkela; Yellow Warning Issued For 2 More Days

Bhubaneswar: A thick blanket of fog enveloped Bhubaneswar on Saturday morning, reducing visibility to 50-200 metres.

Dense fog was also seen in Rourkela, Chandbali, Dhenkanal and Koraput, according to the regional centre of India Meteorological Department (IMD.

The weather agency has sounded yellow warning of dense fog for Odisha till 8.30 am on Monday. Light rain is also likely at some places on February 6-7. There will also be no large change in the night temperature during the next 4-5 days. The mercury is likely to hover around 20 degree Celsius in the twin cities of Bhubaneswar and Cuttack.
