Bhubaneswar: While cold wave conditions have ebbed, dense fog will continue during the night and early hours at several places in Odisha for another two days followed by rain from February 1, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) informed on Tuesday.
The weather agency further said that there will be no large change in the night temperature, which has been rising gradually under the influence of a western disturbance, during next 4-5 days. It, however, added that the mercury might drop to 15 degree Celsius again in Bhubaneswar from January 3.
The state capital had recorded 16.8 on Tuesday morning.

Notably, very dense fog had reduced visibility to 50 metre in Bhubaneswar this morning. Dense fog was also seen in Koraput, Rourkela, Dhenkanal, Cuttack, Angul and Kendrapada, while Baripada, Talcher, Chandbali and Bhawanipatna experience shallow to moderate fog.
