Balasore: Vigilance sleuths on Friday conducted simultaneous raids in an alleged disproportionate assets case against a block grant teacher in Balasore.
He was identified as Ramchandra Upadhyay, a Botany teacher at Talanagar College in Soro.
According to sources, a five-member team of the anti-corruption wing raided four places, including the residence of the teacher at Asimila in Bahanaga block and two other buildings near Talanagar College Square.
Till now, Rs 3 lakh cash, gold and silver ornaments have been seized from his house.
The exact amount of disproportionate wealth is yet to be ascertained, the sources added.
