Khurda: At least four people were seriously injured after a passenger bus overturned in Begunia area of Odisha’s Khurda district in the early hours of Saturday.
As per preliminary information, the mishap took place near a petrol pump on Begunia-Baghamari road in the wee hours when the bus from Phulbani was proceeding towards Bhubaneswar.
Sources said the passenger bus skidded off the road and overturned apparently after the driver lost control over the wheels. At least four persons, including the driver of the bus, sustained grievous injuries in the accident.
The injured were rescued by local residents and rushed to the district headquarters hospital at Khurda for treatment.
