Bhubaneswar: After a gap of almost five months, the driving licence (DL) skill test will start in Odisha from September 18 with 40 per cent capacity in accordance with the COVID-19 guidelines.
The notification issued by the office of Transport Commissioner said that only exiting applicants can book test slots after 11 am on September 14. Thereafter, booking for slots will be opened from 7 am to 10 pm every day. DL renewal with retest will also be allowed.
However, applicants from containment zones and with symptoms of COVID-19 will not be allowed to take the test.
The learner’s licences (LL), which have expired, will remain valid till December 31. The date for LL test and application for new LL and DL will be notified later, it added.
