Bhubaneswar: A drunk man, who was floating in the Daya river by holding a pillar of the bridge, on the outskirts of Odisha capital was rescued by Fire Services personnel on Sunday.
“A team was sent after we were informed about the incident. He was rescued and brought ashore with the help of a lifejacket. His condition was stable,” said Assistant Fire Officer, Bhubaneswar, Abani Kumar Swain.
