Bhubaneswar: To ensure smooth conduct of COVID-19 vaccination in Odisha, the state government has decided to conduct dry run in all the districts from Friday.
Briefing mediapersons after presiding over a high-level review meeting, additional chief secretary, Health & Family Welfare Pradipta Mohapatra said that the dry run will be conducted in sub-divisional hospitals, community health centres (CHC) in all the districts from 10 am to 12 pm.
The dry run will also be held in Medical College & Hospital, urban primary health centres (UPHC) and urban community health centres (UCHC) and a large medical college and hospital in districts where they are available, he added.
Mohapatra further said that in case there are any side effects of the vaccine, the session sites will have the AEFI (Adverse Events Following Immunization) kits.
