Bhubaneswar: Amid the forecast about likely formation of a depression over Southeast Bay of Bengal and adjoining Andaman Sea around November 27, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Thursday predicted dry weather conditions in Odisha till November 29,
The night temperature in the state is also likely to fall by by 2-3 degree Celsius after 2-3 days, according to the midday bulletin.
“A cyclonic Circulation is likely to emerge over South Andaman Sea and neighbourhood around November 25. Under its influence, a low-pressure area is likely to form over South Andaman Sea and neighbourhood around November 26. It is likely to move west-northwestwards and intensify into a Depression over Southeast Bay of Bengal & adjoining Andaman Sea around 27th November,” the weather agency said.
Squally wind speed reaching 40-45 kmph gusting to 55 kmph is likely over south Andaman Sea on November 26 and increase to 45-55 kmph gusting to 65 kmph over south Andaman Sea and adjoining Southeast Bay of Bengal in the subsequent 24 hours, it added.
