Bhubaneswar: In view of safety related works on recently completed double line between Koraput and Manabar railway stations and Koraput-Dumuriput and Dumuriput-Manabar stations, the East Coast Railway (ECoR) has cancelled, partially cancelled and diverted some trains.
According to an ECoR release, safety related works to link the rails along with non-inter locking and installation of signalling system would be taken up in the two projects. The non-interlocking works will continue from January 6 to January 7 at Manabar, upto January 8 at Dumuriput and upto January 10 at Koraput railway station.
As essential safety works cannot be avoided, minimum cancellation of trains has been announced as per following:
Cancellation of Trains:
18107/18108 Rourkela-Jagadalpur-Rourkela Express from Rourkela on January 5 and from Jagadalpur on January 6 will remain cancelled.
Partial Cancellation of Trains:
18447 Bhubaneswar-Jagadalpur Hirakhand Express from Bhubaneswar on 5th January will run up to Rayagada and remain cancelled from Rayagada to Jagdalpur.
18448 Jagdalpur-Bhubaneswar Hirakhand Express from Jagadalpur on 6th January will originate from Rayagada instead of Jagdalpur and remain cancelled from Jagdalpur to Rayagada.
18005 Howrah-Jagdalpur Samaleswari Express from Howrah on 5th January will run upto Titlagarh and remain cancelled from Titlagarh to Jagdalpur.
18006 Jagadalpur-Howrah Samaleswari Express from Jagdalpur on 7th January will originate from Titlagarh instead of Jagdalpur and remain cancelled from Jagdalpur to Titlagarh.
08546 Visakhapatnam-Koraput Passenger Special from Visakhapatnam from 5th to 10th January will run upto Laxmipur Road and remain cancelled from Laxmipur Road to Koraput.
08545 Koraput-Visakhapatnam Passenger Special from Koraput from 6th to 11th January will originate from Laxmipur Road and remain cancelled from Koraput and Laxmipur Road.
18512 Visakhapatnam-Koraput Express from Visakhapatnam on 6th & 9th January 2023 will run up to Damanjodi and will remain cancelled from Damanjodi to Koraput.
18511 Koraput-Visakhapatnam Express Special from Koraput from 6th to 11th January 2023 will originate from Damanjodi and remain cancelled from Koraput and Damanjodi.
08551 Visakhapatnam-Kirandul Passenger from Visakhapatnam on 6th January 2023 will run upto Araku.
08552 Kirandul-Visakhapatnam Passenger from Kirandul on 6th January 2023 will run up to Jeypore.
