Bhubaneswar: Indian Metals Public Charitable Trust (IMPaCT), managed by IMFA Group, has invited nominations for the prestigious Ekalabya Puraskar 2022.
The annual award, presented to the outstanding young sportsperson of Odisha, carries a cash prize of Rs 5 lakh and a citation. Besides the main award, two more awards are also presented with citation and Rs 50,000 each.
Shuttler Rutaparna Panda won the Ekalabya Puraskar 2021.
Interested candidates should send their nominations through sports organizations/Boards/Associations/Universities/Colleges and schools within Odisha.
Candidates must not exceed 25 years of age as on March 31, 2022.
Application should state clearly their age (with proof), and performance history in State, National and International sports competitions (supported by evidence) in the past two years, that is, from April 1, 2020 to March 31, 2022.
Nominations must reach Ekalabya Puraskar, IMPACT, IMFA Building, Bomikhal, Bhubaneswar – 751 010 by May 31, 2022.
Nominations can also be emailed to ekalabya@imfa.in in which case the supporting documents must be sent separately to the postal address mentioned above.
