Bhubaneswar: Commissionerate Police has made elaborate traffic arrangements to ensure hassle-free movement of vehicles of the Asian Athletics Championships (AAC) athletes and delegates to the event venue, Kalinga Stadium, in the city.
On July 5, vehicles coming from NALCO Square will be diverted from Jaydev Vihar Square towards Acharya Vihar Square between 3 pm and 10 pm. Similarly, vehicles from Shastri Nagar would be diverted towards Sachivalaya Marg. Besides, vehicles from Vani Vihar to Jaydev Vihar would also be diverted onto the national highway at the bridge between Acharya Vihar and Jaydev Vihar flyover. No vehicles would be allowed on NH-16 from Acharya Vihar Square to Jaydev Vihar Square between 3 pm and 7 pm. Apart from that, vehicular movement would be stalled on Nicco Park Road, connecting Behera Sahi with Nicco Park Square to facilitate public parking from 10 am to 10 pm, an advisory issued by the Commissionerate Police said.
