Bhubaneswar: Police recovered decomposed body of an entrepreneur from a guest house in Odisha capital on Friday.
The deceased has been identified as Tapan Prasad Acharjya. He was the owner of Bhubaneswar-based Subham Bio CNG Pvt Ltd but resided at Phulbani in Odisha’s Kandhamal district.
According to sources, Acharjya (45) had checked into a guest house at Gajapati Nagar under Maitri Vihar police limits after attending a corporate meeting on Tuesday.
Police found his decomposed body lying on the floor under the bed in a pool of blood and informed his family.
The body has been sent to Capital Hospital here for postmortem and an investigation is underway to ascertain the circumstances leading to his death.
