New Delhi: There have been demands from some quarters demanding cancellation of the upcoming class 10 and 12 Board exams.
A post has been circulating on WhatsApp groups and other social media platforms vis-à-vis class 10 Board exams, leading many to enquire whether it’s correct.
But the Union government on Thursday busted the claim that there will be no Board exams for Class 10 under the New Education Policy.
PIB Fact Check shared the ‘fake’ notification on Twitter, and wrote: “A #Whatsapp message claims that according to the New Education Policy, there will be no board exams for class 10th… This claim is fake.”
The government agency also alerted students and parents that the Education ministry has not issued any order related to cancellation of class 10 Board exams.
Sometime ago, PIB had busted another fake news which was circulating that Board examinations for Class 10 and 12 will commence from 4th May 2022.
