Mumbai: Several Bollywood celebs took to social media to congratulate the Men’s Hockey Team for winning a bronze medal at the Tokyo Olympics.
Filmmaker and actor Farhan Akhtar was one of those who hailed the moment of pride for India. In a goof-up, however, the actor congratulated the wrong team and trolled for his tweet that he later deleted.
Instead of the men’s team, he praised the Indian eves for winning the bronze at the Olympics.
Farhan’s deleted post read, “Go girls. So proud of team India for showing exemplary fighting spirit and bringing in our 4th medal.. super stuff. #Tokyo2020 Hockey (sic).”
