New Delhi: The farmers’ protest has been suspended for two days after a protester died of head injury on Wednesday evening.
Shubh Karan Singh, a 23-year-old from Punjab’s Bathinda, died at Haryana’s Khanauri border where protesting farmers clashed with police in the evening.
Haryana Police dropped teargas shells at Shambhu and Khanauri borders.
Farmers’ leaders will review the situation and announce the next course of agitation on Friday evening, reported The Indian Express.
