New Delhi: Popular fashion influencer Insha Ghaii Kalra has announced the sudden death of her husband Ankit Kalra, leaving the social media community in shock. Ankit Kalra was 29.

The couple, who were admired for their charming presence on social media, especially Instagram, got married in February 2023. The sudden loss has left their followers and the wider community grappling with the tragic news.

Insha Ghai Kalra, who enjoys a significant following of over 721K on Instagram, is known for her delightful and humorous reels featuring her husband, Ankit.

The couple’s chemistry was palpable, and their content often revolved around the light-hearted moments of married life.  Insha and Ankit tied the knot in February 2023, and their social media presence showcased a loving and playful relationship that resonated with many. However, the untimely death of Ankit Kalra on August 19, 2024, has left a void. Insha announced the news through her Instagram handle on just a day after the Rakhi celebration on August 19.

In her emotional Instagram post, Insha shared a photo of Ankit along with a deeply moving note, which read, “Take me one day, I promise to do things differently! Come back baby, please? I miss you .” This heartfelt message echoed the pain and disbelief that comes with losing a loved one so suddenly. Insha’s followers, who had witnessed the joy and love shared by the couple through their screens, flooded the comments with words of support, prayers, and expressions of their own sorrow.
