Cuttack: Millions around the world wished megastar Amitabh Bachchan on his 78th birthday, many organised celebrations, but few can match up to his humble fan of Cuttack who has been celebrating his idol’s birthday for the last 20 years.
Dhaneswar Sethi, who runs a paan shop in Badambadi of the Millennium City, could not suppress his enthusiasm to celebrate the birthday of his most favourite star despite COVID-19 pandemic.
Dhaneswar, who considers this day as extremely auspicious for him, decorated his shop with balloons and invited the shopkeepers of the locality and children to cut a cake and wish long life for Amitabh. Though the celebration was a low-key affair this year, the mood was worth noting.
The father of 41-year-old Dhaneswar is also a great fan of Big B and the entire family takes part in the birthday celebration of the Bollywood’s unchallenged Shahensa.
