Rourkela: A month-and-a-half after successfully staging the FIH Men’s World Cup, international hockey returns to Odisha as India resumes its FIH Pro League campaign.
Bhubaneswar’s Kalinga Stadium was the venue for India’s home matches in the 2020-21 and 2021-22 cycles.
The 2022-23 competition also started in October with India playing at Bhubaneswar.
The next leg of the League will be played in Rourkela, which co-hosted the World Cup at the newly-built Birsa Munda International Stadium.
India will be in action along with heavyweights Australia and Germany, with 6 matches scheduled in as many days.
India will take on Germany on March 10, before facing Australia on March 12. The return games will be played on March 13 and 15, respectively.
All matches will start at 7 pm and will be live-streamed on FanCode.
Harmanpreet Singh will lead the Indian team, while Hardik Singh has been named as his deputy.
