Balangir: The body of a young employee of a finance company who went missing two days back was found in a jungle in Goilbhadi village under Saintala police limits in Odisha’s Balangir district on Wednesday.
The deceased Uttam Nag’s body was found hanging from a tree in the forest, said sources. Basing on circumstantial evidence the police have registered a case and investigating whether it was a case of suicide or murder.
Nag was a native of Sargiguda village under Jayapatna tehsil in Kalahandi district of Odisha. He was working with a finance company in Titilagarh for the last three years, the sources said.
His family lodged a missing complaint with police after he did not return home on Monday. A search and information from locals led to the cops to the site where Nag’s body was hanging from a tree.
The body was sent for autopsy and an investigation has started in connection with the case, the police said.
