New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will hold a bilateral meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping on the sidelines of the BRICS summit in Russiaon Wednesday. The meeting will underscore the upturn in India-China relations following the successful patrolling arrangement along the Line of Actual Control that had faced multiple hiccups over the last few years.

Both leaders are in Russia’s Kazan, where Russian President Vladimir Putin, Brazil’s Lula da Silva, and South Africa’s Cyril Ramaphosa are also attending the meet.
