Bhubaneswar: Odisha’s Cuttack city has been included in six cities where the matches of Legends League Cricket (LLC) 2022 will be played.
The LLC on Tuesday announced the schedule and fixtures for the season two of the tournament to be played from September 17. Several cricket legends will participate in the tournament, according to an LLC release.
As per the fixture, of six grounds, five are Kolkata, New Delhi, Cuttack, Lucknow, and Jodhpur, while the venue for the playoffs has not been announced. Three matches each will be played in Kolkata, New Delhi and Cuttack and two matches each in Lucknow and Jodhpur.
Cuttack will host the matches from September 27 to 30, Kolkata from September 16 to 18, New Delhi from September 24 to 26, Lucknow on September 21 and 22 and Jodhpur on October 1 and 3. The playoffs will be held on October 5 and 7 and the grand final on October 8.
Raman Raheja, Co-Founder & CEO of Legends League Cricket, said, “The wait is over for our fans and viewers. With the announcement of fixtures, they can plan for the matches. We will soon announce our ticketing partner along with the dates for the availability of tickets online. With the lineup of iconic players from the 10 nations in a new format, I am sure fans will experience powerful performances on the pitch and a great season this year.”
Ravi Shastri, Commissioner of Legends League Cricket, said, “We will continue to entertain the cricketing fans at these wonderful cricket grounds. This festival season we will be presenting the cricket carnival with Top Legends competing for the first Legends League Cricket Title.”
