Four Held for Rs 9L Loot In Odisha Capital

Bhubaneswar: The Commissionerate Police have arrested four youths for their alleged involvement in the loot of Rs 9 lakh from the house of one Kailash Chandra Sahu at Nayapalli here in the first week of August.

They have been identified as Kartika Nayak (19), Ganesh Nayak (25), Bhuban Mohanty (19) and Amit Kumar Parida (20).

Mobile phones, Rs 2.24 lakh in cash and the motorcycle used in the crime were seized from the accused.

The four had broken into the house and decamped with Rs 9 lakh, which Sahu had got the money after selling a patch of land. They were nabbed on Saturday night, police sources said.
