Bhubaneswar/Cuttack: Bald cine lovers were in for a treat with the producers of Odia movie ‘Bala-The Rhythm of Life’ organising a free show for them on its release, at Jayashree Talkies in Cuttack on Friday.
This Tarang Cine Productions’ movie showcases the plight, problems and demands of a young man, who suffers from premature balding. Here, the protagonist tries to justify his demand to be included in differently-abled category.
The movie directed by Amaresh Pati has Samir Satpathy making his debut in the lead role. He has been cast opposite Divya Mohanty.
Besides, Ananya Mishra, Aparajita Mohanty, Salil Mitra, Jay Prakash, Anant Mishra, and Aisharya are essaying important roles in the movie.
The movie has been released in 14 cinema halls across Odisha and currently playing in Shriya Hall in Bhubaneswar.
Interestingly, the release of this Odia movie coincides with that of Abhishek Pathak’s ‘Ujda Chaman’ also based on the concept of premature balding. It is a story of a typical West Delhi Punjabi family.
The topic seems to be hotting up with another movie, Ayushmann Khurrana’s movie ‘Bala’, with a similar storyline releasing on November 7.
