Mumbai: Singer and TV host Aditya Narayan is all set to walk down the aisle with his long time girlfriend, actress Shweta Agarwal on Tuesday.
The wedding festivities started with the Mehendi ceremony on Sunday, followed by the Tilak and Haldi ceremonies on Monday.
Talking about the wedding plans, Aditya’s father and celebrated Bollywood singer Udit Narayan said they have invited only a few close friends and relatives in view of the pandemic restrictions.
“The wedding today will be at a small temple with just 50 guests in attendance, followed by a reception. I’ve invited Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Amitabh Bachchan, Shatrughan Sinhaji, Dharmendraji, Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, and Madhuri Dixit, but with Covid-19 cases on the rise, I don’t know if they will be able to attend,” said Udit, while sharing the guest list with Mumbai Mirror.
The veteran singer shared that he, along with his son Aditya sang ‘Mehndi Laga Ke Rakhna’ and ‘Bole Chudiyaan‘ at the Mehendi ceremony that was held on Sunday.
Earlier, while talking about his wedding, Aditya had told Spotboye, “We’re getting married on 1 December. Because of Covid-19, we can invite only close family and friends, since Maharashtra does not allow more than 50 guests at a wedding. It will be a very simple temple wedding and a small reception after that. Can’t call too many guests because of Covid. It will mostly be a family affair with a few friends from the film television and music fraternity whom I must invite.”
