Frontier Media Receives Odisha Start-up Ecosystem Accolades 2023

Bhubaneswar: Leading Bhubaneswar-based media organisation Frontier Media, which runs odishabytes.com, received Odisha Start-up Ecosystem Accolades 2023 here on Sunday.

At the 7^th edition of Quizzotica, Frontier Media’s founder and Group Editor Sandeep Mishra and co-founder and Editor of Odisha Bytes Punya Prava Rath received the award in the ‘bootstrapped business’ category.

Founded in February 2018, Frontier Media also runs three other leading 24×7 web news platforms: odishasambad.in, indiabytes.com & educationbytes.in (dedicated to education and employment domains). It has also made its presence in different media activities like conceptualisation and production of audio visual content; design, content development (English & Odia), printing and advertising; media planning and consultancy; and, social media management.

The other awardees included Craftbull Crafts (promising micro enterprise); Curebay (startup with speed and scale); Pipli Technologies (innovative business model); Ceiba Green (start up by woman entrepreneur); and, UtkalaGouraba SHG (impact social enterprise).

Pro-vice chancellor, KIIT University, Dr Tapan Panda, director of Orissa Urban Academy and president, NHRD Bhubaneswar, Dr Santanu Rath graced the occasion.

More than 100 teams from premier institutions participated in the prelims test held on November 9. Six teams qualified for the finals held on Sunday. A panel discussion on ‘funding options and strategies for early-stage Odisha start-ups’, moderated by founder & CEO of Vordurja Srijat Mishra, was also held.

National HRD Network (NHRDN), Bhubaneswar chapter, in partnership with Vordurja Education Private Limited and TiE Bhubaneswar, organised the event.
