Bhubaneswar: Petrol and diesel prices reached a record high as those were hiked again on Sunday. Petrol has been hiked by 25 paise and diesel by 30 paise a litre.
The price of petrol per litre in major cities is as follows:
Delhi – ₹102.39
Mumbai – ₹108.43
Kolkata – ₹103.07
Chennai – ₹100.01
Bhubaneswar – ₹103.23
Crude oil prices have soared internationally to near three-year high and India has been importing at an average of $78 per barrel in the last few days.
Similarly, diesel prices have crossed the ₹100 mark in Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Odisha, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Diesel is retailing at ₹98.94 a litre in Bhubaneswar.
