New Delhi: At the end of a busy opening day of the G20 Leaders’ Summit here on Saturday, President Droupadi Murmu hosted a dinner for global leaders, delegates and other invited guests from all states.
For the second time in the day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi received the global leaders and their spouses, before introducing them to the President at the Bharat Mandapam this evening.
The Heads of State and other world leaders were treated to a special dining experience, with meals served on silver and gold-plated utensils.
The menu featured meals with Indian flavours and innovative dishes made from millet, besides diverse street food.
The menu card begins with an introduction to how India, with all its diversity, is connected by ‘taste’. “A medley of traditions, customs and climate, Bharat is diverse in many ways, Taste connects us,” the menu read.
