New Delhi: Anyone planning to take the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2024 test, prepare seriously to reap the benefits.
Different public sector entities, including Airports Authority of India (AAI), Engineers India Limited (EIL) and Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL), will refer to GATE scores of candidates for their recruitment processes.
AAI will consider GATE 2024 results in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, and Computer Science and Information Technology.
EIL will check GATE 2024 results in Civil, Chemical, Mechanical and Electrical Engineering.
IOCL, on the others hand, will consider GATE 2024 results in Chemical, Civil, Computer Science & Information Technology, Electrical, Electronics & Communication, Instrumentation, Mechanical and Metallurgical engineering.
The National Mineral Development Corporation (NMDC) Limited have already announced that those taking the GATE 2024 exam are eligible to apply for Executive Trainee (Tech).
The Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited (NPCIL) will also use GATE 2024 scores to select executive trainees in Chemical, Civil, Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation and Mechanical engineering for the 2024 batch.
GATE 2024 exam will be held between February 3 and 11, 2024.
IISc Bengaluru will be the organising institute for GATE 2024. The examination will be conducted by IISc and seven IITs — IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Guwahati, IIT Kanpur, IIT Kharagpur, IIT Madras and IIT Roorkee — on behalf of National Coordination Board (NCB) – GATE, Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education (MoE), India government.
The total number of subjects in GATE is 30, following the addition of a paper on Data Science and Artificial Intelligence.
