Bhubaneswar: Learner’s driving licence (DL) are now being issued at Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) office at Saheed Nagar and on the premises of Odisha State Road Transport Corporation (OSRTC) here.

Keeping in mind the long queues at the two Regional Transport Offices (RTOs) in Bhubaneswar, the State Transport Authority (STA) on Sunday decided to open camp offices at these two places.

Transport Commissioner Sanjeeb Kumar Panda said that these camp offices will remain open from 10 am to 5 pm till October 4.

People applying for learner’s licence will have to deposit a copy of the application form and the acknowledgement receipts, Aadhaar card, document of their educational qualifications and blood group, he added.

The state government had earlier extended the deadline for readying all required vehicle documents to December 31.
