Good News! Fawad Khan To Make Bollywood Comeback In Film Opposite Vaani Kapoor

New Delhi: There is good news for Indian fans of Pakistani actor Fawad Khan. The actor will be making his Bollywood comeback with a romantic comedy titled ‘Abir Gulaal’ where he will be seen sharing screen space for the first time with actor Vaani Kapoor.

The heartthrob has been away from Indian cinema for around 8 years since the ban on Pakistani artistes after the 2016 Uri attack. He was last seen in the Alia Bhatt, Rishi Kapoor, Siddharth Malhotra starrer ‘Kapoor & Sons.’

‘Abir Gulaal’ is set against the picturesque backdrop of London and will commence shooting on September 29. The film is directed by Aarti S Bagdi, The Indian Express reported.

The actor shared in a statement that the film explores the journey of two individuals who unintentionally help each other heal, with love blossoming as an unexpected consequence.

The makers are also excited about Fawad’s massive global fan base, and thus anticipate that audiences will wholeheartedly embrace this film. As per the makers, the film will showcase Fawad in his most endearing role yet, the report added.

The team is also looking forward to the chemistry between Fawad and Vaani. The film is produced by Vivek B Agrawal, Avantika Hari and Rakesh Sippy.
