Bhubaneswar: Even as Odisha government has signed an MoU to partner with FICCI for investment promotion, the next edition of Make in Odisha may get postponed due to COVID-19 situation.
The MoU was signed between the IPICOL and FICCI through video-conference in the presence of chief minister Naveen Patnaik making FICCI the national partner of the state to support investment promotion activities for next conclave of Make in Odisha. The conclave was scheduled to from November 30 to December 4.
According to Industries department sources, the conclave is likely to be postponed due to COVID-19. It is impossible to hold the meet due to travel related restrictions, said a department official.
The government will take a call on the next dates of the conclave and how it will be conducted, he added.
