Bhubaneswar: Three-time Grammy Award winner and Indian music composer and producer Ricky Kej met Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Saturday.
The Chief Minister congratulated the renowned music maestro on bagging his career’s third Grammy at the recent Grammy Awards.
Naveen also expressed his gratitude to Ricky Kej for his contribution to ‘Mandia’ song recently released by Odisha on the occasion of International Year of Millets.
Sources said the music composer called on the CM at his residence – Naveen Niwas – in Bhubaneswar and both had a brief interaction.
The Chief Minister along with Ricky and senior officials watch a special documentary on Odisha’s success in Millet Mission.
Naveen also presented Hockey India’s jersey to Ricky wishing him more success in his future endeavor.
It may be noted that Ricky Kej recently bagged his career’s third Grammy for ‘Divine Tides’, which was nominated in the Best Immersive Audio Album category. The album ‘Divine Tides’ is a collaborative project with rock-legend and Police drummer Stewart Copeland.
