Bhubaneswar: Minister of State for Water Resources and Tribal Welfare Bisweswar Tudu who was inducted into the Union Council of Ministers recently has planned to tour Odisha to study ground realities and status of various Central welfare schemes under implementation as part of the “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikash” programme.
Tudu will be on a six-day tour of the state commencing Monday morning. According to Bharatiya Janata Party sources, Tudu was ailing and hospialised days after he was inducted to the Union Ministry in July. Hence, he had to put off his Odisha visit earlier.

He will leave Bhubaneswar for Balasore on September 7 and make a night halt at Baripada. His four-day itinerary in Mayurbhanj parliamentary constituency will begin Septembe 8. He is expected to attend party meetings and interact with people in his constituency.
According to BJP spokesman DillipMallik, party activists have organised meetings to greet the new minister at Cuttack, Balasore, Bhadrak and Rairangapur.
Union Ministers from Odisha, Dharmendra Pradhan and Ashwini Vaisnaw, had toured the state in August to oversee implementation of various Central schemes.
