Bhubaneswar: Depicting undying valour, girls from Maharishi Daredevils drove down the Mahatma Gandhi Marg here on Saturday, as a part of state-level Republic Day celebrations.

While Chinmayee Bhuyiaan commanded this formation, another group of girls followed them showcasing ‘Nari Shakti Deshara Surkhaya Re’, celebrating and appreciating every woman joining defence and combats.
Riding bullets and motorcycles, with tricolour in their hands, they perfected the formations with ease.
“It’s an aerial view. Through this, we want to show that women are no less than men, and can do all it takes to take care of our nation,” said Flight Lieutenant Mihir Saran, their trainer.
The combat act on ladder-fitted bullet was followed by girls in motorcycles, forming the map of India.
The final act by 61 boys on seven bullets was the Rafael aircraft formation.

Mihir said the training for both girls are boys are done together. “We are trying to remove gender bias and prejudices.
