San Francisco: Legendary big motorcycle maker Harley-Davidson has revealed its first-ever electric bicycle. It has been named after Harley’s oldest motorcycle – Serial Number One.
The electric bicycles will be sold under a new sub-brand Serial 1 Cycle Company, from March 2021.
The Serial 1 has a combination of cycling and electric power with pedal-assist.
The company expects the electric cycle market to grow by over 6 per cent in the next 4 years. Around 2.7 lakh electric cycles were imported to the US in 2019.
