Berhampur: A 24-year-old man was arrested for allegedly using a Bluetooth device in an army recruitment examination at Gopalpur in Odisha’s Ganjam district.
The accused was identified as Vijay, a resident of Jind district in Haryana, a police officer said. He was caught while appearing for the recruitment examination at Gopalpur.
According to Berhampur Superintendent of Police Saravana Vivek M, a Bluetooth device and SIM cards were seized from his possession.
The exam was being held at the Army Air Defence Centre (ADC) at Gopalpur military station on Sunday.
The accused was caught by the invigilator in the exam hall and handed over to the police.
