Cuttack: The Orissa High Court on Tuesday expressed displeasure over the probe into the custodial death of a youth in the Baseli Sahi police station in Puri.
The court, while going through the affidavit submitted by the Advocate General (AG) Ashok Parijia, expressed displeasure over the progress in the investigation, wanted to know whether a case under Section 302 of the IPC is registered against the police.
The court asked the AG to submit all documents, including the post-mortem report, judicial probe report, medical examination report and the action-taken report (ATR).
It also asked the AG to ensure whether the investigation is being done properly.
The court will have the next hearing of the case on January 11.
